Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

SOURCE: Stopped working

I had a similar problem with a jvc 8040. when I replaced the fuse it became very obvious that the b1560 output on the center channel was blown (smoke and sparks, always a dead giveaway). I haven't fixed the center channel yet but simply unplugged the center channel board and removed it from the unit. Now everything works fine except of course the center channel. Pre outs still operate just fine so a slave amp could be used for center channel power, or you could just go and buy a marantz amp; I did and then I realized that I was lucky that the old jvc quit.

SOURCE: I need a 24 volt

Hi.
From my knowledge, I doubt you'll be able to get one of these off the shelf in any store. You need to visit a computer game store that specializes in xbox (we have one in Englan called GAME for example) or you need to get busy on ebay to get a replacement.
Most universal off the shelf types only got to 12v, this will not power your item. If you do not get an official Microsoft replacement, be sre to check that the voltage and Polarity (+ and -) on the pin are correct. Get them wrong and you'll dame your steering wheel beyond ecconomical repair and possibly the new power supply too.

SOURCE: supplied by 21 volts instead

The product you're inquiring about is not showing in your post. Name the make and model first, then we'll look for the manual. Then (maybe) find a solution. You might find it at the manufacturer's support site or these guys...

retrevo.com
audio.manualsonline.com
hifiengine.com
usermanualguide.com
Google search: "(product) manual"
As for its probably fate, if you smelled smoke instead of just blowing a fuse it might be sufficiently cooked to write it off and get a new one.

Zoom g1x dc supply not working, my zoom g1x is working when battery operated but if i connect it to a adaptor there is no power, i've already checked my adaptor and it was properly working, what can i

Some possibilities:
  • Damaged on the DC-IN socket.
  • Broken solder joints on the center pin of the DC IN socket (see figure: pin 1 on DC208B).
  • Damaged (broken) in D2 or R54

Amp turns on but puts out no sound except for faint noise which dies out after a few seconds.

It sounds like a defective/incorrect AC-to-DC adapter may have caused your problem. These adapter come with different output voltages, AC or DC output and different amperage ratings. AC-to-DC adapters list the polarity of the DC voltage as it relates to the DC power plug and you must match both the devices voltage and power requirements. As for the amp...not working on batteries either, I would suspect output transistors or IC.

No power. no lights. I have checked the power cord and its like there is no power

Firstly check that there is power to the Ac adaptor, this can be done by seeing if the green power indicator light is on on the adaptor body.

If not, then you have a defective plug, blown 3 amp fuse or the adaptor is fried (not uncommon)
If you have a multimeter, you can set it to 20 volts DC and with the adaptor pligged into the mains, test the DC JACK end! by putting the red probe to the inner part of the jack and the black to the outer part, if no reading, then assume the adaptor is dead.

Best way to check is by testing with an adaptor (universal charger type) to see if that works.

Assuming the adaptor is putting out power, check the output with a multimeter as above and see if the voltage is at the correct level (think its 19 volts on that model). If it is, then move on to the DC jack connection on the netbook

Watch the power indicator on the adaptor, if it is not steady green (ie flashes on and off), ther power is not making a circuit in the alptop and is being "spat back", this can be anything from a blown circuit board in the power circuit, to something as simple as a motherboard main fuse.

If there is a staedy green light but no power at the netbook and the jack connection at the netbook is firm and not sloppy or loose, then you will need to have the netbook dismantled and the fuse checked ( this will also need to happen if the jack connection is loose.

Sometimes, removing the battery, pressing the power button on (with the adapator unplugged) for 30 seconds and repowering with the ac adaptor can reboot the system, but I'd be inclined to suspect the adaptor first

Hi.why my zoom g1x has no power.im using a universal adator...i am in phillpines.power volts here..220 volts.how is the setting of my adaptor then?

I have a ZOOM GX1XN and it doesn't like universal adapters much. Using one with the wrong voltage or polarity may permanently damage your pedal. Try to obtain a proper ZOOM AC adapter (part number AD-0006 or AD-16) if possible. These are dual voltage and will work equally well with both 220 and 110 volts. Failing that you need an adapter that will give a DC (direct current) output of 9 volts at 0.5amps - maximum 4.5 watts. The outer contact (sleeve) of the adapter needs to be positive (+ve) and the inside contact negative (-ve). Lots of universal adapters are the other way around with the sleeve being negative - but some have a multi-connector on the end with both positive and negative sleeves.

No power but works through usb

Checkthe 9volt dc adaptor with a volt meter to make sure it is supplying the unit with power. Does the power indicator light come on when you plug it into the wall? if the power adaptor is supplying power, then next i would check for an internal OR external fuse around where the power plugs in, also making sure the plug it plugs into is not loose or wiggling as this could mean the female portion of the plug may have bad soldering or has been broken. please post again here with your findings... Regards

Compaq Evo doesnt turn on.

When you plug the laptop to the power adapter, you should see the indicator led lit up telling that it has good connection to the ac adaptor. It wont turn on because either there is a loose connection to the power adaptor and hasn't been charging the battery, or the power adaptor itself is bad. Check the power plug with a miltimeter, it should be around 19 Volts.

2wire 1800hg wireless gateway/router not functioning...

Your power adaptor might be faulty.  Yes, you can measure to have 6 volts.  But due to faulty electronic component in the power adaptor, the 6 volts will be dropped to a very low level due to "loading effect"  when you connect to the router.
I had the same problem but could not find the original power adaptor.  I replaced it with a 3rd party power adaptor.  You must ensure that the 3rd party power adaptor can provide 6V output with minimum 2000mA (2 amperes) and correct connector size.

sounds like you have an intermittent problem with your AC adaptor or dc input jack. Does the light on the AC adaptor light up when you plug it in? If it does then your dc input jack may be faulty. If the light on the ac adaptor does not light then replace the ac adaptor. Good Luck!
