This is already a hardware issue if that is the case. You can get some info of your local epson servicer near your area through the epson website, and browse for your printer. If you are having problems the contact epson technical support @ 562-276-1300.

I have an fisher RS636 when i cut it on it stay's on for 8-9 seconds and cuts off. 1 glass 125v/5amp fuse blowd which i changed. i am attempting to fix it myself does anyone have an idea were i start?...

Unplug the unit. Start in the power supply. Unplug any cabling going to the PS Board to minimize erroneous measurements. I am hoping you are technical since you are going to screw around with the electronics so let's get to it. Perform a diode check and capacitive check on main filters to make sure the bridge rectification is good. Next, analyze whatever V (TDA, STK, etc) output module may be on the power supply board (PS).

Should everything look good, keep the cabling off the PS Board but make sure the grounding leads are still tied to it. Replace the fuse with same E and I ratings. Plug in the power supply. Fuse blows? If so, you missed the problem on the PS... go back and run diagnostics (continuity on discretes). If it didn't blow, hook up the cabling the way it was and turn it back on. Fuse blow? More than likely it will be your output transistors. Perform tests while unit is unplugged (diode function).

Good luck and don't get bitten!

My air condition unit will not turn on. the fuse is fine, the powerbox next to the outdoor unit is fine, the wiring seems to be fine, but there is one wire that seems to have been pulled out about 3 feet...

Hi, If the main breaker is fine, the box at the unit is the disconnect box for it. If you pull the block out of the box, you will have a plastic cover there. Remove this cover and there are 2- fuses inside. If you have a meter you can ohm them out. If not, pick up 2 of the same amps. Probably 30 to 35 amps depending on the size of your unit. I am not sure about this one wire you say that is pulled out. If its not coming from the disconnect box there at the unit, or its not the small conductor thermostat wiring, you should try and find out what it is. If you have no dogs that may have chewed the stat wires, I wouldn't think this wire has any thing to do with the a/c. If the indoor unit is also off, remove the control panel. This is a new system so look for the circuit control board. It will have a 3 to 5 amp automotive type plug in fuse in it. Check to see if it has blown. You can normally tell by looking at the top metal strip, it will be burned, blackened. If your not sure, just replace it. You should have a Red led light on the board, or a hole to peep through to see if you can see if the led is on. If it is on, the fuse is good and we will need to go further. You may have a stat problem but first check these things. If the indoor unit is off to, start there looking for that small fuse. This is more then likely the fault. Keep me posted,
PS When you remove the panel on the indoor unit, some will have a switch that kills the power when you do take it off. If so, you can tape it down to restore power. Make sure you remove the tape when done and put the panel on right or the unit will not start. I would start at the indoor unit control board.

A hager b6 fuse has blown - normally the switch flips off and you push the switch back to on and power is restored - here the switch is limp and wont stay in the on position - i cannot see how you remove...

I have just done this myself and without blowing myself up.
1. Tools needed will be a torch and a philips screwdriver
2. Switch off your mains.
3. Check your mains are off
4. On the fuse itself they are two screws. One above the hager sign and one below. Unscrew these. The top screw keeps the wire in from the mains and bottom screw is to keep fuse screwed to the actual fuse box
5. You should be able to remove your fuse now
6. On your new fuse there will be a white piece at the back. Pull that down
7. When the fuse is removed you will see the wire which is now free and on the bottom a plug which is where your new fuse slots in.
8. Slot your new fuse on the plug and tighten the bottom screw.
9. Put your wire in place on the top of the fuse and tighten the top screw.
10. Switch your new fuse on the "on" position.
11. Put back your cover on your fuse box
12. Switch your mains back on.

Sharp XG-NV2U projector not firing up

there is a fuse in the block where the power cord plugs in. you have to disassembe the unit and remove the circuit boards to get to it as far as I can tell. the fuse is a 250volt 5amp ceramic fuse 20mm. I have the same problem and just found the blown fuse but I am still looking for the replacement fuse to buy.

My machine would not switch on this morning, no beeps or lights, I traced it to a small fuse on the main circuit board. you get to the board by disconecting from the mains, removing 2 crosshead screws at the back of the machine and lifting the top of the machine off ( once screws out, slide top of machine back about 1cm and then it just lifts off. You can now see the main circuit board, behind the control panel on front of machine. the fuse is hard to see and is solderd to the board on the lower left side, I solderd onto both ends of the fuseand replaced with a 10 amp HRC fuse, I still need to find the correct fuse rating, this worked for my machine.
However, and its a big however, If the 13amp fuse in youre plug blew and the trip on youre consumer unit, then I would imagine something big (pulling a large current) has gone down in youre machine to cause all these to blow, anyway hope this helps, Robin.

Solution steps:

1. Make sure that the cable is not plugged into the mains receptacle.

2. Open up the unit

3. Inspect the board. Look out for a glass fuse rated about 3A/220V near one corner of the board. It is close to the mechanical ON/OFF switch on the TV. The cable normally plugs into a socket made up of two vertical pins an inch or less from the fuse. Sometimes these are marked with a squiggle (~) or two (~~) to signify that the mains power goes there.

4. If the cable terminator (end of the cable opposite the mains plug) was cleanly pulled out, then well and good. In that case simply plug it back in. If not (i.e. the cable is damaged, then you may have to remove the terminator and solder the cable directly to the board.

5. To pre-empt any further "pullings", make a knot on the cable inside the TV where the cable comes out so that there is some resistance to the pull.

6. Close the unit and enjoy.

No Indication...Dead Unit?

Firstly, try plugging the unit into another mains socket just to make sure it's not the socket that's faulty, or try another appliance in the socket you are using. Next, make sure the fuse in the plug hasn't blown. If you don't have a fuse tester, you can try the fuse in another similar appliance to see if it works. If it has blown and your spare lead is the same, there will be an internal problem. Inside the unit is an in-line 2 amp fuse. If this has blown you almost certainly have a power board problem. Always switch the mains off before plugging in or removing the mains lead from the rear of the unit. Back EMF can damage the appliance if you don't do this.
