This is a common issue. They make a washing machine cleaner that needs to be run through every month or so, and that totally resolves the issue.
Most new front load machines do this, seems like negative headway to me...

Hi just read your posting. Now error code 130 is called SINGLE ROTOR POSITION SENSOR ERROR.This means the rotor sensor which is attached to the motor is faulty or the wiring to it is faulty or the control module is faulty.Unfortunately to test the rotor sensor you need an RPS TESTER.I can help you test the wiring to the rotor sensor but unless you have an RPS tester I can not help you test the rotor sensor. Please reply and let me know how you would like to proceed and I will help you as much as I can.Looking forward to your reply.
Thanks for using FixYa. To resolve the issue please start the washer with one cycle using only bleach and detergent. Then run a load of clothes with vinegar and detergent in it. Most probably the smell is coming from the bleach dispenser. Please check the bleach and fabric softener dispensers. If still the problem persists then you need to check the hosepipe that it is not having fluff or trash. If so, then clean it and the issue will be resolved.
Please do rate the solution and revert for further assistance.
This is joyce
I am assuming that the smell is mold that is what happens in these units, the door gets closed and they capture the moisture inside and it molds around the door and in the dispenser, you have to run about 1 cup of bleach a month in them to keep them clean and in the dispenser you have to spray them with pure bleach with a spray bottle and take tooth brush and scrub the top to remove mold or it will take over. make sure their are no clothes in waher whenn you run this cycle.
this should solve this problem,
please let me know if this works, it did on mine
