Question about Acer Aspire One PC Notebook

I Dropped my black acer netbook (http://www.coracomputers.com/newsletter/newsletter.htm) on wood floor and when i turn it on its at the startup screen the whole time and where the VGA cable goes theres a clicking noise around that area... please help! email me at guardianprovix264@gmail.com if you know whats wrong!

Your harddisk is gone, unow u need to put a new harddisk. It seems that when it fall down it was on.

The Power On Self Test (POST) evidently encountered a problem with one of the main components. Most likely it's the hard drive.

check your RAM and hard drive to make sure they are still inplace. they may have been damaged when you dropped it

Acer aspire 3000 dropped on floor. Random startup events


theres a good chance that the hard drive platletes and parking head have been damaged, although this is not a huge problem to replace, as long as your screen is working ok, then it is worth replacing. you can access it on the underside of the casing, in the largest compartment, remove all screws and the hard drive will be held in with more screws.
