You will not hurt anything by removing the head and looking for the obvious. Large seal on top of cylinder is suspect, if split will not hold pressue. If it looks ok then press on valve in the head with both thumbs, it should move in and out about 1/4 inch. If ok pull out valve and check the vinyl piston stop. If cracked air will leak. Parts are available at www.toolpartsdirect.com or you local dewalt service center. Just by the defective part not kit if you can to save money. Usually the orings are ok, just clean/lube and replace. Use silicone lube paste sold at Lowes in the plumbing department (used for faucet orings). Good luck

The trigger on my Ryobi pressure washer won't turn off and ter leaks out from it. Anyone know what the problem could be?

I had this problem as well. The valve inside the gun cracks causing it to leak. I repaired mine with fast setting epoxy and a hose clamp. Disassemble the gun taking note how the parts are assembled taking pictures helps. Look for the crack sometimes it is not very visible check the ends where parts come together. Mine was where the tube that the trigger connects to enters the tube where the hose connects to. Epoxy the OUTSIDE of the crack not inside the tube because it needs to be smooth in order for it to seal properly. Try to get some epoxy inside the crack then use the hse clamp to hold it together while the epoxy cures.reassemble the gun and test. Sometimes the O-Rings will need to be replaced oil the orings while assembling the gun to prevent damage to the orings.

1998 ford Taurus just started leaking coolant all over driveway low coolant light has gone on put coolant in it yesterday to fill it and parked it in driveway hours later there is very little coolant left...

have a pressure test done on the cooling system to find the leak. It may be a blown hose , heater hose or welsh plug rusted out or a cracked radiator tank . The pressure test will tell the story.

I have titan 440i and it has very low pressure when i swich it from prim to spray keeps running

When you switch it from prime to paint and it's still running:
- If paint/water continues to come out of the prime tube, your prime valve isn't seating properly and needs to be replaced.
- If you get a little pressure at the paint gun but it is surging, your packings, most likely the lower set, are damaged and letting most of the paint leak back past them. Packing/seal kits are available for your machine. Use all parts in the kit and grease/lubricate all of the parts well. Inspect the piston and cylinder for scoring or pitting that can damage new seals. They should be mirror smooth for proper operation and life of the seals.

I have a magnum air 33degree gun, i removed the head cap to replace blown gasket, when i put it back on the gun will not fire.

Check the alignment of the of the gasket in reference to the small hole on the sealing edge(gasket has four bolt holes and one vent hole). This small hole allows air to vent from the upper part of the head when you depress the trigger casuing the gun to fire. If the gasket seals the hole or if air is leaking past the orings in the head vale the gun will not fire. If you hear air leaking from trigger when you attempt to fire the gun, most likely orings are not sealing. Remove the headvalve and lube the orings. If no air leaks from trigger when your attempt to fire, vent hole blocked. Good luck with your repair.

Coleman 2400 PSI Pressure Washer - WATER LEAKS OUT = ?!? Help me please!!! ((-:

Usually, there are spaces between the pump and head portion of the pump. This space is not sealed and will allow water leaking past the seals to come out. There may be a seal kit available, however I have had better luck just changing out the whole pump. There are many available on ebay. Search for one that will use same mount and hoses. Once the seals are gone, the pump will never be the same (may nickle and dime you the death).

Just replaced o rings and piston bumper, but gun still leaks air (out of nozzle) and wont fire at all

Air leaking thru nozzle (where nail exits ) can be caused by two issues. Air leaking past valve rubber at top of cylinder where headvalve seals when under pressure. If leaking at valve rubber seal the piston will usually be pushed down if there are no nails in gun. If the driver stays up while leaking then problem is at cylinder plate. This plate has two orings that seal air pressure. On seals against the body of gun and the other seals against cylinder. Leaks can occur if body of gun is worn, warped or has scratches where oring makes contact. Also look closely at the plate for crackes. Replace parts as needed. Good luck

Karcher G 3000 BH Engine Pumping Problem

This may not be a motor problem. It sounds like your pump is not working properly and the motor is just following the pump. First thing to do is check for leaks in the pump, wand hose, gun etc. It may also be a blown water seal inside the pump.

Pneumatic stapler leaks at the top

your problem is you have blown a seal. On some of the cheap chinese guns, it might be a flat gasket instead of an o ring.

Karcher/Winner 11 - motor pulses when hose is not operating

Hi, I had the same problem, Replaced the O rings and the rubber seals and cups inside the pressure washer and eventually the hose itself burst. Turns out the hose was leaking, internally between the inner sheath and the outside plastic cover, for quite some time and this caused the pulse. New hose and pressure cleaner is as good as new.
