If your belt/part number looks like "BT011901A" you can buy a replacement here: http://www.beltpalace.com/150J8.html

That way you don't have to buy the entire WL015303SJ belt replacement kit that costs over twice as much for parts you don't need.

The belt for your compressor is available in a kit from www.chpower.com the part number of the kit is WL015303SJ

Here is a picture of the kit, http://www.mastertoolrepair.com/images/WL015303SJ_medium.jpg

The reason the belt is sold in a kit form is because the belt will fail when the in-tank check valve fails or begins to leak pressure back into compressor. I do not believe that the belt is sold thru automotive supplier. It is too small. Here is the number stamped on the belt BT012100AV, it has 8 ribs and is about 15 inch length. Good luck

Take some string and wrap it around the pulleys as if it were a belt. Measure the length of the string and buy accordingly.

A belt broke on my car and my ac dont work....what do i need or how much would it cost to repair?

im not sure of the year, make or model of this car but if everything else is working like the powersteering and alternator and car doesnt overheat then i would say that the belt may only run the ac compressor. the first thing to check is all pulleys, the belt may have broke due to being worn and old, the belt may have also broke due to a bad pulley or a frozen one. check all pulleys in which the belt runs on. spin each pulley by hand and make sure it spins freely, if all spins free then install a new belt , make sure to check the ac compressor also. good day.

Mitsubishi air compressor seized up and belt broke. what to do

If you need the air conditioning you will probably have to replace the compressor.

If you dont need it you can just disconnect the connector on the compressor and leave it there to support the new belt..

The belt broke on this unit...how do I install it?

Unplug the power cord or shutting off the circuit breaker. Remove the belt guard loosen the four bolts that hold the motor to the compressor frame. The holes in the frame are slotted to move the motor for belt tensioning. Remove the old belt by pushing the motor toward the compressor. Place the new belt on the pulleys and hand tighten the four motor bolts. Align the two pulleys with each other. Apply a little tension on the V-belt. Place the bar at the base of the motor and push the motor back using the frame of the compressor as the leverage point & deflect the belt downwards with your finger. You should have approximately ½ inch of free belt deflection. Tighten all four motor mounting bolts & check the deflection of the V-belt and the alignment between the pulleys again. Realign or re-tension as necessary. A correct fit will ensure proper operation of the air compressor. Replace the belt guard on the air compressor and reapply the power. Check the belt movement through the guard and for proper operation of the compressor by following the manufacturer's instructions.

AIR LEAK ON CRAFTSMAN AIR COMPRESSOR, 3HP,25 GAL, HORIZ TANK

The needle valve that you see is the unloader which releases air pressure from the discharge line after set pressure is obtained. If air continues to leak after the compressor shuts off, the check valve installed in the tank is leaking air out of the tank. Follow the air discharge line from the compressor to the tank. There you will find a brass valve which is the check valve. Simple test is to remove the smaller airline (1/4") from the brass valve and check for air leaking. If leaking remove brass valve and check for debris under the white seat. If you cannot clean the valve, replace with generic check valve from www.grainger.com. It will cost less than factory part. Just order the valve considering the fitting sizes that you need. For exact replacement,( www.sears.com parts). If you sears model # begins with WL then your compressor is made by campbell hausfeld and parts may be ordered from www.chpower.com. Good Luck with you repair and email if you have more questions.
