Most aftermarket head units use industry standard wire color code. Pioneer, however, does utilize their own proprietary color scheme. I need to get the complete model number for that unit. After a search of Pioneer’s website and Google with the model number you provided, I found no matching data. Thanks.

Bass turd (WTF?) is correct but remember that most newer headunits use a floating ground so do not use a "common ground" (do not connect the grounds to each other)

Hi, the plain orange wire is the power wire. The constant wire is only for maintaining the station presets--it does not power the unit on. The other orange wires are for speakers. See the full color code below, and let me know if you have any more questions.

Can not find a wireing diagram for a pioneer DEh-p2600

Pioneer follows the universal after-market color code, so if your CD player was made in the last ten years or so, the wires should go like this:

Yellow: Constant +12VDC (memory)
Red: key-switched +12VDC (accessory)
Black: Ground
Blue/white: amp remote or power antenna output

Speaker wires: The solid-color wire of each pair is positive; the black-striped wire is negative.

Left front: white
Right front: gray
Left rear: green
Right rear: violet

Hope this helps!
