Question about Computers & Internet

1 Answer

4 days ago i purchased a Kodak 7250 all-in one printer and the soft wear does not connect me to the computer. All it says is that " the package cannot be installed in this host" The computer is an eMac with a OS 9 system , version 10.4.7. I used my previous printer as trade in your "swap for savings" plan at best buy. Now I'm without a printer that works. I want some help getting this new printer to wok with my computer!

My kodak 7250 printed from the laptop wirelessly before we moved across town. Now says disconnected

If the printer is not connecting to the wireless router, you need to address that problem first. It wasn't clear from your problem description whether or not that is the case. If the printer is getting a successful wifi connection then you may need to delete the printer from your PC and re-add it.

Kodak 7250 prints blank

You may have blocked print head nozzles.
Try the printer maintenance to clear the printer nozzles.
After several deep cleaning attempts and there is no improvements in the printthen a new print head is required.
A new print head maybe expensive and it maybe more cost effective to purchase anew printer.

Printer is plugged in and the power source is showing power is going into the printer but the printer will not start up when the power button is pushed on. the printer is fairly new March 2011, and worked...

Check that the power cable to your printer is firmly plugged in at both ends. If there is not a loose connection, then try a RESTART on your computer. If no help with this, I would usually say to relaod the printer software, but it may be simpler for you to chat on this site:

Hope the problem resolves easily.

thanks for asking..........................Pete

My Kodak printer (ESP 7250) looses connection with my computer after a couple of days

It could be due to the fact that your computer is refreshing or changing its IP Address. Is it connected to the printer via a wireless Router?

First we need to know what type of connection you are using to talk to the printer. Is this USB wire, Network ethernet wired or does the printer connect to the wireless network.

First step would be to remove the printer and then uninstall the kodak software from the control panel add/remove programs (windows xp) or programs and features (wvista/7). After which reinstall the softwae with the disk. If you don't have the disc i cna provide you with the download link to get the software.
