Acer eNet Management Internet Disconnected

I bought a new Acer Aspire 5315 on the weekend & the first night I had it I did not have any problems connecting to the internet. I have a router with 2 desktop computers & the laptop the first night connected to the internet no problem. On Sunday when I tried to use the laptop again it would not connect to the internet & tells me that my LAN & WLAN are disconnected?? I even tried taking my land line & put it directly into the laptop & it still would not pick up my high speed internet in my home?? Can you please advise I'm getting so frustrated & feel like this Aspire may be going back to the retailer for a refund before the 14 day return policy runs out. BTW I just bought this laptop Saturday May 24th, 2008 this past weekend...........

I was on line with Tech Support last evening & we done all everything imagineable we reinstalled & uninstalled the driver as a last ditch effort we done a complete system restore back to factory settings (as the notebook is only a few days old there were no files needing to be backed up or saved) as we did that I said goodbye to my tech support "JAY" when system was done restoring I tried once again to log back on, AGAIN WLAN DISCONNECTED & LAN DISCONNECTED????? Still unable to connect to the internet......... I'm packing this notebook up & returning it to the retailer.... I believe there must be a faulty wireless card involved here? ANY SUGGESTIONS??????????????

Ive had this problem too but i found a way to fix it, it seems that if u go into the ePowermanagement and if u search well enough the program can disable both LAN and WLAN to save some battery. You need to un-mark those options and all will the solved (atleast in my case)

I read the comment by desire00w as I had the same problem on my ACER 5720. When I checked the ePower Management everything looked fine. It was set to default settings so I hit the RESTORE button. It asked if I wanted to take it back to default settings. Well it was this already so I clicked yes and Hey Presto evrything worked ok, don't ask me how, so big thanks desire00w

Did u connect to router through a usb ?if yes then there is an issue with your usb driver ,may be the driver is corrupted so you update or reinstall from the device s possible that you lan or wan card is bad or no longer being detected so check out that from the device manager .if your laptop can detect the hard ware if not uninstall the driver and re install.if it persist after this let me knw

SOURCE: Acer eNet Management Error installing

Well it sounds like either your network card is not installed or just plain dead. either way I would take it back to the retailer and have them take a look.

My internet is not connecting & the acer enet

Acer enet management can cause conflicts with the normal windows connection service.

try disabling acer enet management and then attempting to connect to the internet.

Right click on the enet management icon on your toolbar and then click disable, and then try to connect to the internet using windows.

Constantly getting diconnected from a site

Do you use "Acer Tech - Empowering Technology Framework"? that includes "eNet" management??

If so, uninstall eNet, and your internet should be ok.

Acer eNet Management

Do you have "What do you suggest I do to stop the alternating messages? It's almost as annoying as popups." I get an alternating popup (actually fade in fade out) message. the alternating message says "Acer eNet Management Internet Disconnected" Here is my solution!!! :)

First 'Right-click on task bar', TASK BAR IS AT THE BOTTOM OF YOUR SCREEN' then click on 'Properties'. Click on 'Notification Area', Click on 'Customize', Look for WLAN(disconnected), Click on it and choose 'HIDE', Click 'OK', then click 'APPLY', then click 'OK' and now you have no more annoying message. TOO EASY MATE ;)
