Acer eNet Management Internet Disconnected
I bought a new Acer Aspire 5315 on the weekend & the first night I had it I did not have any problems connecting to the internet. I have a router with 2 desktop computers & the laptop the first night connected to the internet no problem. On Sunday when I tried to use the laptop again it would not connect to the internet & tells me that my LAN & WLAN are disconnected?? I even tried taking my land line & put it directly into the laptop & it still would not pick up my high speed internet in my home?? Can you please advise I'm getting so frustrated & feel like this Aspire may be going back to the retailer for a refund before the 14 day return policy runs out. BTW I just bought this laptop Saturday May 24th, 2008 this past weekend...........

- I was on line with Tech Support last evening & we done all everything imagineable we reinstalled & uninstalled the driver as a last ditch effort we done a complete system restore back to factory settings (as the notebook is only a few days old there were no files needing to be backed up or saved) as we did that I said goodbye to my tech support "JAY" when system was done restoring I tried once again to log back on, AGAIN WLAN DISCONNECTED & LAN DISCONNECTED????? Still unable to connect to the internet......... I'm packing this notebook up & returning it to the retailer.... I believe there must be a faulty wireless card involved here? ANY SUGGESTIONS??????????????Same Problem

- I have had the same problem , it occurs at random for no apparent reason. When I start my acer 5315 the the message WLAN disconnected comes up, Also when I press the button on the key board a message --nowireless device comes up. What now?........................- robstDec 03, 2008

did u connect to router through a usb ?if yes then there is an issue with your usb driver ,may be the driver is corrupted so you update or reinstall from the device manager.it s possible that you lan or wan card is bad or no longer being detected so check out that from the device manager .if your laptop can detect the hard ware if not uninstall the driver and re install.if it persist after this let me knw

ive had this problem too but i found a way to fix it, it seems that if u go into the ePowermanagement and if u search well enough the program can disable both LAN and WLAN to save some battery. You need to un-mark those options and all will the solved (atleast in my case)
