Unfortunately the only way to resolve this problem is to reset the player, that means it will be restored to its factory settings removing all data(song,files) that was stored to the player. To restore the player here are the steps;
-Make sure that you have iTunes install on your computer.
-Open iTunes and the connect your player either via USB or Firewire.
-Wait for you player(iPod) to appear on the source panel in iTunes.
-Select your iPod and the source panel on iTunes and you will see your players information on the summary window.
-Click the restore button.
Hope this will help you unlock that player.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
