Replacing thermostat for central heat and air/ not humidifier
Need to replace Honeywell chronotherm III 8601D, wiring slightly different on new Honeywell Both are 5 wire but new one has rc and rh plus Y, W, and G. Old has Y, W, G, and R ( which is empty) and Rh connected to red wire, and C connected to blue wire . Do I just connect the C (blue) to the Rc and the Red wire to the Rh and connect the rest as same as old? Or do I need a different thermostat?
