Ok had a question the other day about my 09navarra loss of power and blowing smoke it's like the turbo is not kicking in but I kno it works cause it worked in revers the other day getting over the cu

turbos on this vehicle have a variable vane setting activated by an actuator that is vacuum controlled by the ECM. At low rpms the vanes move to direct more exhaust gas onto the turbine wheel thus producing boost at low engine rpms. You will get boost at high rpms because if the vanes aren't moving then that will be the position they are set at. Check that the vane rod is moving, check that the vacuum hose is not leaking, cracked or loose and check that the actuator is doing the job.

Why is it not blowing air

You said it doesn't blow air - but does it show any sign it is getting power such as a pilot light or LCD display? If not:
First, check the power outlet - is it live? Does the plug fit securely? No extension cord, right?
Second, plug the unit into another outlet - preferably the one where it worked before, if it's not too far away. Don't use an extension cord.
Third, let it sit for 24 hours. Sometimes moving a portable unit can require a waiting period before use.
Fourth, check all the access panels to make sure they are snug. Sometimes they have microswitches that shut off power when opened. Moving the unit could have dislodged one.
Good luck!

I have a Mitsubishi Mr. Slim Model MSZ-A09NA. We just purchased the house and have only been using it for a week. I had it serviced on Friday and was told it worked fine. Sat. we had a power outage. ...

Hi, it sounds like you may have lost the blower motor due to the power surge. Normally, it would kick the breaker off.The code is just telling you something is not right as you know. You can try turning off the breaker to the indoor unit for 10 minutes or so, and reset it to see if the blower will start. If you have the manual, that might tell you what the code or light is. Its more then likely a 220 volt indoor unit. Sometimes on a double pole breaker, only one half of it will trip in a power surge. Check to see if this is the case, as you may only be getting 120 volts to run the vanes. If its half way tripped, turn it off hard, and back on hard. that may be your problem. If not, call the service tech, and just tell him it stopped working. He will come out at know charge to you. I bet its your breaker though. Please let me know.

The inlet air valve the trigger operates. Revisit the vanes. Look for cracked or chipped corners. The spring behind the vane can be weak too. The overall depth of the vane can be worn enough that the vane leans in the groove allowing air to escape lowering the power applied to the vanes.

I was in a flood need to rebuild butterfly 3/8 air tool

Takes notes and pictures as this can be helpful. Most impacts will return to operating condition with a simple cleaning and lubrication.

1. Remove the body screws and disassemble the unit.
2. Clean all parts with ATF and a scrub brush where needed.
3. Reassemble the unit and test.

There are no complicated parts in this unit. The center "armature" of the unit is comprised of a solid cylinder with slots and fiber wind vanes. One side of the vanes is rounded and the other (outer) is flat. If you are having problems with it rotating this is more than likely where the cause will be found.

Similar problem on my Saturn, the air control knob is the slider above the temperature slide, it is a lever attached to a wire. It moves the vane to redirect the air, if it will not move then something is blocking the vane or the cable is jammed. If it slides back and forth without any effort then the cable as come disconnected inside. Purchase a service guide and it will explain how to remove the controls and check. It will also show where the cable attaches to the ductwork behind the dash.
