Question about Kenmore 24032\24036 Top Load Washer

1 Answer

Kenmore washer leak

I have an older style Kenmore washer that I just recently noticed leaking from the bottom. I checked the water connection hoes and the one that drains the water and still can not find where the leak is coming from. Any other areas that you think I should check?

I'm having the same problem with my older Kenmore top load heavy duty washer. All cycles are working fine but i have a pool of water directly under the washer.

With the machine unplugged and EMPTY disconnect the water and waster water connection from the wall and tip it forward you should then be able to access the pump.  Check the hoses running to the pump. (usually white plastic with 2 large and 1 small hose running to it.. you can also just move it away from the wall with it completely connected and run it thru a cycle to see where it is leaking from.
