Question about Kodak EasyShare Z1275 Digital Camera
Your camera most likely has corrupted firmware, but to check see if the fault remains when the memory card is removed. If not, then try another SD or SDHC card (either new or one which has been used only in another EasyShare camera). If this cures your fault then you have a faulty memory card which you may be able to return to the manufacturer for free exchange (many major brands will do so even if the warranty has expired and the fault is fully described in detail).
If all fails, then the next step is to try and update the firmware; this will completely replace the software and operating systems in your camera with a completely fresh installation. To do so click on the following link (or cut and paste into your browser) and follow the detailed instructions from Kodak to the letter:-
If this fails, then there is nothing more you can do and you must choose whether to replace your camera or return it to Kodak for repair. If the camera is still under warranty then the repair will be free.
I hope that my reply helps you to either fix your camera or to choose an alternative course of action. Please take a moment to rate the free answer I have provided you with.

This is an internal problem that will require a diagnosis and repair by an expert technician. Don't try to open the camera yourself as there are several bands in place that if moved will make this problem worse.
