In my acer 5738 model laptop i am having a sound problem. Reason it shows like "Modem device on high definition audio bus not found". what can i do this problem? . Please help me.

Try downloading the drivers from the Acer WEB site. Make sure youselect the model of your laptop and the XP or Vista version of the drivers youthat require and it matches the Windows version that is installed on yourlaptop. You can download all of them they will not install if the driver is not the right one. After download run it, the software will look for the device if it can not find it it will notify you stating "The device can not be found" if it is the correct one it will complete the installation.
go to the acer website and then to laptops choose your laptop i guess its a aspire 3680 download the sound drivers and install it then download the modem and install it manually, i think there are 2 of them there try both one will work out. good luck. rate me
