sir please call to the aircel simcard customer care and say the cellphone model number.and the phonenumber then they will send the gprs settings to your cellphone save the settings and switch off your cellphone and again switch on.then connect the data cable from phone to the computer for connecting the internet...........

sumit ,Any icon you are getting in the phone.For Edge it will come E and Gprs G will come in the display.I purchased the samsung 1 week back and i just put the aircel sim.i not configured any thing.Automatically it is selecting edge and i am able to browse from phone and through data cable (kies) , i am able to browse from my laptop. In Worst case only go manual settings for gprs.Do one thing,reset to factory default (before take a backup and insert the sim.)wait for 5 minutes if the phone is able to contact the edge or gprs enabled tower you will get E symbol or G for Gprs on your mobile.
Just download the appropriate samsung pc suite from samsung website and also download the GPRS settings from Aircel by contacting aircel customer care...
just install the downloaded software on your system and check whether the net is working on your phone first, and connect it through the usb cable and pc suite will install all the drivers of your phone and you can able to get net on your pc...
FIRSTLY U NEED SETTINGS OF GPRS FROM AIRCEL SERVICE PROVIDER THEN INSTALL PC SUITE SOFTWARE OF NOKIA IN UR PC THEN APPLY THE SAME SETTINGS IN UR PC SUITE UR WORK IS DONE..........
