I'll wager a wild guess. If I'm wrong, please don't enter ANY thumbs up because you don't include your model#, computer model#......ZIP.

You have children or a pet.

Immediately, using the the model number of your keyboard/laptop...whatever, get on ebay, get a replacement. Or repost here with helpful info.

In the meantime DO NOT leave me any feed back thumbs up unless it's 3 or 4. I'd rather have nothing. I was kind when you needed help and left me nowhere to go. And for free.

To type capital letters, press the shift key which is the up arrow in the bottom left corner of the screen, and then press the key for your desired letter. If you would like caps lock, double-tap the shift key. Note that the caps lock will be deactivated if you change to the number keyboard or symbol keyboard.

I have a laptop Inspiron dell 1525 and the letters b and n does not work. So I cannot type my password. Can you please help.

While on the log on screen, in the lower left corner, there should be a blue square with a circle in it. Click that and enable the "Type without the keyboard" an on screen keyboard will appear, and click the letters on that for your password

Toshiba satellite - Letter "N"

First check to see if NumLock is turned on. This is usually indicated by a LED somewhere either above the keyboard or possibly at the front of the machine. If it is currently on, you will want to toggle it to OFF in order to type in your password. This is usually done by pressing the blue FN key located at the lower left corner of your keyboard, along with one of the function keys at the top of the screen. I believe on Toshiba laptops, this should be FN + F11, but check the keys themselves. Look for a blue picture, usually of a calculator. Holding the FN key down and then pressing this key should turn off NumLock and allow you to type the password.
Note: It is also possible that the 'N' key on your keyboard has gone bad. If this is the case, open the On Screen Keyboard, accessible through Start > All Programs > Accessories > Ease of Access, and type your password using this.
I hope this helps!

You'll need to toggle off the numeric keypad using a combination of one of the Function keys (F1-F12, or another key up there labeled Num Lck) and the Fn key, betwen the CTRL and ALT keys on the left corner of the keyboard.

Blackberry Curve 8330 Pasword Lockout

Try removing the password before attempting to sync to your computer.
On the pressing the keys and getting only numbers sounds like the numbers shift is locked.
simply press the alt on the bottom left of your keyboard.
the use of numbers only or sometimes caps only will be indicated on your screen. observe the symbols along the top and the bottom .
type something as if you were going to send a text message to text that the keyboard is set to normal and lower caps.
