It's not working; I cant see the camera from outside my home Internet.

I have assigned a static IP for the camera, and I can see it live if I go to through my home Internet, but I can't reach the camera from outside using myIPaddress:8080

Also, I have activated DDNS to TZO address, and I still cant reach the camera using TZO provided address.

Tried port forwarding ... did not work.

If I want to enable DMZ, I get the table below:

what values should I use for Public IP and Client PC IP ?

    Enable DMZ
Public IP addressClient PC IP addressComputer name

    Dynamic IP
    Static IP

    This was great!

The problem was with the firewall, and it's much better to enable the DMZ for the static IP of the camera rather than using port forward.

The support from Ekse was so helpfull and I can watch my camera from outside location through the Internet.

You need to Turn on Port forwarding from the router, that forwards the IP cameras connection port that shows you the picture on a internet browser or other tool.

You can find this port by normally connecting to the Ip camera Via Internet browser it will be on the address: HTTP:// for example. If that was the IP of the camera in your network, then you would need to either enable DMZ to ip (camera ip) Or Enable port forwarding for camera IP and port 8080 as an example.

Also note that you can not efficiently test if your portforwarding was successfull from home, you need to try from outside. you can visit to get your home IP address. now with this address you can browse from another computer outside of your home to HTTP://yourIP:cameraPort and the IP camera should be visible. It is recommended to turn on security - so that you need to enter a user name and password to the camera.

Port forwarding tend to always be a bit of trouble to get to work properly. Since you can view it on the lan, you will be able to view it outside, we will just need to get the portforwarding to work properly, You could also try the DMZ setting for the camera's ip. Also check any security settings on the firewall, might be blocking http traffic from lan to wan. (from local area network to outside)

Public ip is dynamic ip session 1, unless you know you have static ip? - go with dynamic.
    Client PC ip is
    Click Add

    Check Enable DMZ.

Router should restart. - if it doesn't work, reboot router and try again. Also note if your camera IP changes this will no longer work, it might be better to set a static IP into the camera so its always for example

Linksys wireless camera--viewable if ISP uses dynamic IPs?

Ok, everything by default hands out dynamic ip addresses. If the camera is plugged into the network it will automatically pick up an ip address and you would be able to see it in your router config page. Try attaching the camera to the wireless network and then log into your router and look for attached devices. Let me know if you get stuck and where you get stuck.
