Question about Brinkmann Smoke 'n Pit Smoke King 805-2200-0 All-in-One Grill / Smoker

Hi i have a BRINKMANN SMOKE N PIT SMOKE KING very pleased with it but after YEARS of use,The chrome plating on the three 15 1/2 inch cooking grills is pealing and is tainting the fish is it still possable to still get these if so at what cost, I would also like to purchase a Smoker Basket of the same size if you could let me know the cost with delivery charges

No, you're not missing any parts. What you see is what you get. There is a hole for a thermometer in the door, but for whatever reason, Brinkmann didn't include that with the smoker. To help you further, I have included a link to the Owner's Manual for your "discontinued" model smoker.

Need Backyard kitchen . think model # 810- 3500 - 0 , wire cooking surface , wire briquete surfice and wire warming tray , as all three are coroded , also need price and availability


Unfortunately, your model grill has been discontinued. The only part for it that Brinkmann caries is the Hood Thermometer. However, there are some other sources for parts, that I have provided links to. If at all possible and you can afford it, replace the old cooking grates and the briquette grate with stainless steel ones. They are easy to clean and will last for years and years, with proper maintenance.

Was given a brinkmann gourmet charcoal smoker/no manuals


Sure...the smoker top and middle lift off. There is a pan that goes over the charcoal pit. The pan is used to create moist heat. It will produce steam while you cook. I recommend flavoring whatever fluid you put in the pan with fruit, fruit juice, or frozen concentrate, or wine, mixed with water. You can put your initial batch of charcoal in the bottom, (pit) and fire it up just as you would any charcoal grill. once the coals are ready, you can put the pan over them, put the middle section in, (with whatever meat you prefer), then finally the top. During cooking, to produce a smoky flavor, you can put water soaked hickory or misquete chips with the charcoal, it has a door for access. You can also add charcoal as needed to maintain the desired heat level thru the door. Remember, it takes longer to prepare food on the smoker, the key is low heat and longer cooking times. For example, I usually cook a boston **** at about 185 degrees for up to 12 hours. Bon Appetite!

My Brinkmann Electric Smoke and Grill (Double) is cooking


I hope your turkey turned out OK. I read all of the smoking and grilling forums and it seemed to be a very common occurrence yesterday that turkeys cooked in far less time that the grill masters thought they would. Could be that most birds are pre-brined and the additional moisture causes the birds to cook faster. Could be that they are leaner than in the past and the fat renders sooner, causing internal temp to rise faster.

I would let it cook and just check the internal meat temperature at regular intervals starting about 15 minutes per pound.

At what temperature was your smoker running during your cook?
