Ok this may seem barbaric but it worked on mine.......Hit the top of the stereo a couple of times and see if it corrects the problem.

Open the eject door and at the lower right side of the cartridge their should be a small indent that looks like you could poke it with a medium point pen. That's a reset for the changer. If that does not work, you will need to remove the changer from the car, pull off the top, plug the cable back in and hit eject. look for the arm on the backside of the cartridge and give it a nudge. It may just be stuck. Loading mechanisms usually do not fail before the optics or other!. I left it for 24 hours and tried to eject the disks again. It took a while churning itself, but eventually the 1st disk was ejected followed by the 2nd. I think it is like a slow computer. One has to be patient and it works: try to rush it and it won't.

I have the exact problem as of last week when my battery and altenator died. I tried to have it fixed at ford, but they said it was broken. Did you have any luck?
