What size disk? I take it that it is probably 20 ft or so? Because u said one of the wings. Ok so it has two cylinders that pik up the disk? On the main frame.

One of them changed. And Im sure they are hooked up right? Doe's it still drop when the lines are unplugged from the tractor? If it doe's and the cylinders are hooked up right. Then it is one or both of the cylinders bypassing around the piston. When one of them bypasses then the oil pressure between the two would eqal out on both of them because they are hooked up together.

And shut the tractor off and you should be able to hear where it is bypassing. Might need someone to listen if it goes down fast.

When lifting an implement on my 1060 nuffield the implement raises and lever returns to neutral but 1 minute later implement is down why is this ?

It is valve leakage or cylinder bypass leakage. If you have disconnects between the implement and the tractor raise it and then disconnect the hoses. If it stays up it is valve problems but if it still drops the cylinder piston seals are worn. After raising wiggle the valve handle to make sure it is centered. The centering springs can weaken over time or the valve can get sticky. If this doesn't help the valve may be wore out or have bad seals.

Just an idea but my guess is that it is in the hydraulic system.
Probably a safety valve that prevents it from falling in case of a hydraulic line break.

Why can't I raise or lower the deck?

Sounds like you have jammed linkages which raise and lower deck, you can try this which usually works best with assistant.
With engine off, shake the deck vigorously (up,down, back and forth) while try to raise deck with lever.
Check for worn or damaged arms, springs, deck mounting points, etc and repair or replace.

Deck only raises a little bit, not the way it is supposed to. Selections 1-4 is the same level, resting on the ground. how do i fix this

The bolts or wing nuts for the deck adjustment have likely come loose or off entirely from the raising/ lowering undercarriage.
Once you have identified the loose or missing nuts (and replaced, making sure to add lock washers) then move the mower to a flat, level surface and move height lever to the lowest setting (some mowers have a flap over an ultra-low setting for this purpose).
Now tighten the nuts on the raising / lowering arms. You should now have normal control over the height. Farmerbear at

How to adjust the mower deck on my murray rider,

Park the tractor on a firm, level surface. . .
At the lower end of the lift/lower travel slot, there should be a plastic cover which you pop up so that your blade lift handle goes all the way down (it should say something about blade level on there somewhere. . . . .
After you have the handle in this position, look at the front lift arms of the mower deck and find the 2 large wing nuts, one on each side. . . . .
Loosen these while the deck is down and then retighten them Your deck is now level and will lift to its highest recommended position when you raise the lever
