Psp ower problem

I had something like this happen to me, but I was lucky enough that it started working again. Try putting it in a bag or container of rice, because rice absorbs moisture, so it might pull any water out of it. Hope this helps.

Green light comes on but nothing else turns on

I'll give you the quick story of what they did. They "bricked" the PSP. This is a term used by all PSP hackers. When you try to hack the system so you can play pirated games on the system, you will occasionally get an error that causes the system to be "bricked". They use the word "brick" because once it happens, the PSP becomes as fun as a brick. You really can't do much about it. Your best bet is to call Sony and see what they can do for you. If you know anyone else that knows what they're doing with PSPs, you could always ask them to fix it for you, but Sony would be the easiest. They won't do it for free, but they will fix it for you. 1-800-345-SONY

Sound like a major hardware problem. Check on your warranty and see if it's covered. Otherwise you might be out of luck.

Omar Several issues, we in the industry call this "bricked" Try this, make sure you have the latest firmware update take the battery out and then replace it after a few hours. The majority of these issues are battery related. Plug it in with your charger then try to play and see if the problem still exsist, if so its the battery. Take out the battery and memor stick and plug in the adapter and see if it works then. Another test is plug in the charger then take it out and see what happens. Hope this helps.
