Question about Kenmore Dryers
There are 2 things required for a clothes dryer to work. 1 is heat and the 2nd is air flow. You need to check for both of these. Does it feel warm inside the dryer, and the clothes are not drying? If so you likely do not have air flow. Check to see that your vent line is not clogged. Somethimes the vent line can fill up with lint. I even found one time that the outside vent louver had a missing louver slat and a bird had gone inside and built a nest. Now if you do not have heat but you have air flow, it is likely the heat element that is faulty or the contacor that turns on the heater is not engaging.
