A user manual is here

It says there to load photos in from a memory card, such as a SD card, or from a USB stick.

I bought my Nikon Coolpix s3100 in the USA one week ago. It is my third Coolpix thought the years and I have been very happy with them. Now I am in Europe, with a plug to change from US to standard EUR....

I don't know where you got your information but, most of it is incorrect. Your camera can use two types of batteries: rechargeable EN-MH1 using the MH-70 battery charger or a non-rechargeable CRV3. The camera cannot be charged with a cord to the camera. Also, new EN-MH1 batteries will discharge quickly for the first few charges and then give good service thereafter.

How do i date stamp photos i take on my kodak easyshare m580 camera???

I've checked in the manual and I don't think this camera has a date stamp feature on it. Other than that you can put the date on the image on your computer using a photo editing program like Photoshop. Hope this helps!

Nikon Coolpix L110 camera was bought for me for Christmas 2010. Worked fine at first, but now seems to be having problems. Batteries don't last. I just bought new batteries in Feb/March this year...

You have to charge the batteries for nearly 8-10 hours. Brand new batteries also require a full recharge of 8-10 hours. Not only making sure the batteries are charged, have you changed the battery in the menu under type of batteries.
Download this manual :
http://www.nikonusa.com/pdf/manuals/noprint/L110_ENnoprint.pdf and go to page #114

Bought a new Nikon d7000 - Manual says to download "ViewNX2" before downloading my photos to computer. I have iPhoto and Aperture on my computer - why do I need this program to download?

Hi,

ViewNX2 is just the latest editing software that Nikon has released. You don't have to use the software if the iPhoto or Aperture recognizes the camera and allows you to edit the photo's and video's.
It maybe an idea to download and install the ViewNX2 software as they maybe more features with that.

I got this fuji camera, and lost the guide book while moving, so don!t know how to do anything, and o9ne picture says it is secured, how to get rid of it. Would the place I bought it have a extra book?

I don't know where you are in the world, but I'm from the UK and have found this user manual on their website, here's the link http://fujifilm.co.uk/consumer/digital/digital-cameras/d-slr-long-zoom/finepix-s1000fd-119757/Support remember to click on the link for the manual and not the one for the brochure as the brochure is just a short reference guide to the specs of the camera.

As for a secured picture? I'm not sure why you wouldn't be able to delete that if it is stored on the camera's memory card. Try different ways of accessing the photo, one by plugging the camera into your PC through the USB cable and connecting that way, alternatively, remove card and try using a stand alone memory card reader if you have one and read the card that way.Either way, there's no real reason why you can't delete photo's you have created yourself and after all, the memory card should be able to be wiped clean of data if you so wish.

The place you bought it from, if bought from new, should have the manual for the camera without a doubt, but if you have bought second hand then it's very unlikely that they would have it, unless it was misplaced before selling it on to you.

I hope I've been of some help to you though.

Low battery warning

What type of batteries did you buy?

For digital cameras, you want to use batteries with high milliamp hour (mah) rating: "2500 mah" if they are rechargeable.

If you bought regular batteries, you want to use good quality. Look for the "e2" or "better for digital equipment" type.

Does the camera have a DC power plug option? Try taking pictures with it plugged in if it does. If it still malfunctions with power right from the wall, then you bought a bad camera.
