Toshiba Satellite A25-S207 won't boot. When the power button is pressed, a single beep is heard and the power on indicator on front of laptop turns from green to flashing yellow. The fan is also comes on full speed as the power indicator light continues to flash yellow. Can you help? Thomas

    I know, I know. This is EXTREMELY OLD. but, i can't find anything else about it. what ended up happening?

This is a very old computer. There could be a number of things causing this symptom. Best bet is to take it to a local shop, not a big box store, for their opinion. My guess is it is not worth fixing.

No its a virus.
Not the case of loos cable.
I've faced same problems & re-formatting the system cured my problem.

on the left side is an on and off button,is it on. what is the name of your router and adapter if is used.

Notebook did not go in BIOS setup


It depends on the brand of your BIOS. Try these two steps, Press F2 upon boot up or press ESC and F1 upon boot up.

That flashing light indicates that the laptop is not getting power, check and test your power cord. That light should be light solid when plugged in. good Luck
