Question about Sony Televison & Video
Digital TV is an either/or proposition: it's great or it's terrible. To get a great picture and sound over the air your antenna has to point in the general direction of the broadcast towers. The problem is, sometimes they're scattered all over the compass. Go to antennaweb.org and enter your zip code and follow the instructions -- you'll get a list of stations and the compass direction they're in. Then you can decide whether you want to use a rotor to get all the stations you like. Also check out hdtvantennalabs.com for info and advice on what to buy. Indoor antennas can work if you're close enough to the transmitter(s) but again you may have to point them in a different direction for certain channels.

Your LCD has a digital tuner and should receive free channels using an indoor antenna but it would receive more channels if you have an outside antenna, depending on where you're.
If you are closer to a transmission tower the indoor antenna should work fine.
