You need to update your windows xp to SP3 and .NET Go to Internet Explorer, then Tools after that select Windows Update. Add everything on that list and custom too. It will take about 2 hours to download. After its done, you will be able to run any game.

Netfix wont work

You need Microsoft Silverlight installed on your PC in order to watch Netflix in your browser. Please ensure that you have installed Microsoft Silverlight on your PC, and that should let you. If it still does not let you watch Netflix, check your internet speed to make sure that you have adequate speed, and if that is alright then you might want to clear your browser's cache. You can look on how to clear your browser's cache in your browser's documentation. If this helped you, please leave me positive feedback. Thank you.

I instaled a new video card and now i get a error message when i load games saying check graphics card directx 3dgraphics is there a onboard graphcs that i may have messed with by nividea

It seems that you have not installed software DIRECT-X needed to run the big games. Check Game's requirements which may be seen in readme/manual. Check which version of DIRECT-X is required. Install the same from Games Cds.

Help please. error message on install - buffalo brx816u2

The problem is that the Cyberlink software that comes with the drive cannot be installed on a Windows N Edition (Microsoft created the 'N' edition following a European lawsuit). In order to fix this problem in Windows media player needs to be installed on your computer first.

You can obtain a copy free, direct from Microsoft here-

you will then need to restart your computer and install your drive software again.

That error usually occurs when you're installing from a read-only source such as a CD. It's a poorly-written install routine. When the PC needs to write some files during the install process, it can't and fails with the misleading "not enough disc space" message.

You say you've downloaded the software and get the same message. You may need to manually create the directory it's trying to write to. Study the exact wording of the error message. It should give you a clue as to where it's trying to write. Create the directory it wants and that should fix it.

Hope that helps,

Installing ink cartridge

I've had this problem too. The only way to make the message go away is to buy the ink from Dell. Although generic ink cartriges will work the printer will not/can not reset the "low ink" message unless you buy the cartriges directly from Dell. So you can use another brand, but you'll just have to overide the low ink message when it pops up by telling it to continue printing. Then you can tell when the ink is low by seeing it when it prints out.

Processor question Compaq nc6000

Check your power management settings and make sure that your settings are not set to decrease CPU speed in order to conserve battery power. You can usually adjust it those settings manually (try the custom tab)

Sometimes, some motherboards might require an updated bios to resolve speed related issues. This would be your last step if power management tweaking fails.

Oh, check your bios, there are CPU throtteling settings that might solve this issue.

Cannot install application on my pda2k

You need to check whether it's an .exe file or a .cab file. If it's a .exe you need to first install it on your pc nad then via activesync install it on your PDA2K. If its a .cab file you should be able to install it directly on th PDA2K. ps If you try to run the .cab file on your PC it will say its not a valid apllication with the corresponding windows error code.
