I own a Winchester Model 94, American Bald Eagle, commemorative 375, Big bore XTR never been fired and in the original box, SN ABE 1866. Question: I can not find any info on line or otherwise regarding this rifle. I believe it was manufactured in New Haven, Conn. by the Olin Corp/US repeating arms co. I've been all over trying to get some info....Apparently the 375 Winchester is a mystery. I even have a hard time finding ammo. And I'm curious about the value of this beautiful rifle. I'd be grateful for any info or direction that you could provide. Many Thanks [email protected]

Bald Eagle commemoratives were made in 1982.
Blue b value near $850. HOWEVER, since current winchester 1894s are made in japan, USA made 1894s have a higher appeal to consumers. Since current Win production prices of japanese 1894s are in the 1200 range, consumers are snapping up the commemoratives that are less $1200 and are generally unfired NIB rifles. Ammo is still being made, in annual batches, so keep an eye out online for availability. As I type this there is some that can be had at ammotogo and luckygunner. I have seen Bald Eagles modified with added sights and are used for hunting. Great bush rifle. The commemorative supply of USA made 1894 will eventually be used up. Fair market price of a NIB Bald Eagle is currently in the $1200 price range.

Winchester, and most companies of its size have historians, museums, and just about everything they ever made. If they don't know anything perhaps they will want to buy it for their collection :)
