How do i replace the gasket seal on my tbx21

First, have the replacement gasket on hand...

Pull the old gasket toward the outside edge of the door. There is usually a metal strip underneath the gasket that holds it in place with a screw every so many inches all the way around the circumference of the door.

Once these screws are removed, use them or replacement screws that came with the new gaskets, to install new gasket the same way.

It's easier to install if you put a couple of screws in on each side, first...

Oil leak from oil filter i thimk or its from very close to the filter

Your leak could be the result of a missing oil filter gasket or an improperly sealed oil filter gasket. Remove and inspect. either way, the fix should be easy.

Buy a gasket kit for the upper end. Remove the valve cover intake and exhaust manifolds. Remove the head bolts. Remove head and clean up block from old gasket material. Take the head to a machinist and make sure that it is not warped. If it is warped either replace the head with a new one or have it machined true. Install new gasket and get torque specs with new head bolts and follow torque sequence using the correct torque specs. Clean exhaust, intake and valve cover of old gaskets. install new gaskets and torque according to specifications.

I need to know how to change he door seal(gasket)

  1. Buy a gasket that fits your door exactly.
  2. Soak the new gasket in hot water in the sink to make it pliable.
  3. Make sure the refrigerator is level.
  4. Find a nut driver that will fit the screws holding the old gasket in place and lay out your tools where you'll be able to reach them.
  5. Start at the top outside corner of the door and fold the old gasket back as you partly loosen the screws along half of the top and side. Don't loosen them all the way.
  6. Pull the old gasket out.
  7. Attach the new gasket by pushing it beneath the metal retainer and tightening the screws as you go.
  8. Replace each section the same way.
  9. Shut the door and check for gaps. The seal should lie straight and smooth all the way around the door.
  10. Notice if there are gaps between the gasket and the frame - this may indicate that the door has warped. (Fix it by loosening the screws and twisting the door a little. You may have to do this a few times before you get the door straight.)
  11. Put a flashlight in the freezer pointed toward the opening and shut the door. Turn off the lights. You shouldn't see any light leaking through.

Head gasket has gone on 1 van. i have another van. how do i go about getting good head gasket from 1 van to the other

You don't, not the head gasket anyway. You should always replace the gasket with a new one. You can use a cylinder head off one vehicle for another as long as it's the same engine. But have the head checked by a automotive machine shop prior to installation so it can be checked for cracks and warpage.

I had new intake manifold gadket installed noe

Since problem developed after head gasket replaced. I would look at head gasket. Try re-torque head bolts. Was correct gasket size installed? (due to wear and tear, sometimes OEM gasket is no longer correct).

Oil leak

If by head covers you mean valve covers this is an easy fix just install a new set of valve cover gaskets, as this is a fairly common problem ( valve cover gaskets ). Just unbolt the valve covers and remove them then scrape off the old gasket and install the new ones and bolt the covers back on. This is a pretty easy job and the gaskets are less than $ 25.00. If it is the oil pan gasket you will needto drain the oil and unbolt the oil pan and remove it then clean off the old gasket and install the new one.

Oil pan replacement

biggest advice i can think of is to make sure ALL of the old gasket material is removed before installing new pan to keep it from leaking when you install new gasket a thin coat of Form-A-Gasket or similar type silicone on new gasket sure helps out hope this helps

look at the door gasket, look underneath the gasket and you can see how it is attached. either with a clip or the plastic itself is the one holding the gasket. unscrew all screws holding the gasket, order a new one and install backwards. if there is no screw, there is a grouve in the plastic wall where you can insert the gasket. just slowly pull the gasket and push the new gasket in to the grouve.
