Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

Matrix entering and constants

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but the HP 10S calculator does not perform matrix calculations.
You have 9 variables A to F, M, X and Y. You can use them to store data, constants, calculation results, and other numerical values.
To store say the value 5674 in Variable A you press the key sequence 5 6 7 4 [SHIFT] [STO] A.
To recall the value stored in A (and use it in another calculation) you press [ALPHA] [A]. It will be displayed and you can do with it any calculation you want.
You can enter (store) data in Statistics modes
  • Mode 2 is for standard deviation SD (1-variable statistics)
  • Mode 3 is for Regressions.
You will have to read the manual starting from page 23.

My battery from HP 10S calculator is dead... So i took out the screws from the back and now I can't figure out how to open it? I've tried sliding it and I think there's like a clip holding it or something?...

I had the same issue with mine, and I resolved it this morning : all you have to do is to use your screwdriver as a crowbar... and force! Just remember the electronic componants are under the screen side so be careful not to put the top of the screwdriver on it and you won't break anything. Good luck!

My front lid pops open when I blip the central locking to unlock the car, and when I am driving and get to a junction it pops open?

I had the same problem, and mine turned out to be a jammed switch. I wiggled, the switch, and the problem went away. The other symptom was that the hood would pop 10s after I started to drive away.
If wiggling the switch doesn't work, look to have it replaced.

My HP 10s Scientific calculator does not switch on what could be the problem, is it maby because the calculator was left in a drawer and now the batery ran flat hou can I charge it on the solar power...

You can't charge the calculator off the solar power panel. The solar power panel merely conserves battery power when using the calculator in a bright environment. Try putting in a new battery and see whether the calculator turns on.
