Question about Samsung Washing Machines
I had the exact same problem. First Lowes replaced the 2 control boards, but problem still persisted. Then they replaced a simple voltage sensor, still nogo. Then out of desperation, they replaced the complete wiring harness. This seems to have resolved the problem.

8E is an overload or over current error code.. try unplugging it for a few seconds and plug it back in.. if it continues you could have s short in power distribution block on the board.. I would recommend if it continues for you to call a tech im sorry to say.. Good luck

8E shows as an Over Current Error.
This can be a problem with the main control board and/or the motor.
Samsung state that unplugging the appliance for a short while then plugging it back in can cure this.
Give it a try. If still getting the 8E you're looking at an expensive repair on the pcb and/or motor.
