Hello, I accidentally disabled The main physical display adapter on my dell inspiron 530s, and now when i boot up i can hear all the sounds but i cant see any thing how do i solve that( i mean how do i re enable the display adapter)
As soon as you restart the computer press F2 and try to go into the BIOS and enablethe integrated video.
If you are not able to get in the BIOS you need to open the laptop and reseat the CMOS that is the coin battery
which will reset the BIOS and your hardaware configuration to default.

It's a 'failsafe' - You will need to go back into the BIOS - double check the boot settings - and verify the HDD is set to Auto - make sure the RAM installed is the RAM shown on the boot screen.
Ok, once that is done reboot 2x - hit no keys - if it request F1 to continue, CTRL/ALT/DEL reboot. - go into BIOS, go to boot options find the part that states "stop on error" and disable that... reboot.
If that doesn't help Contact me here. I've other solutions to try as it is a DELL and I've dealt with them for years.
You should have a CD that came with the computerthat has "Device Drivers" and "Diagnostics and Utilities" listed under contents. If you don't have the CD you can go to www.support.dell.com andselect "Drivers and Downloads". Enter the "service tag" (serialnumber) of the computer. You can then download the driver for your CD/DVD.
Dell Inspiron 530s keyboard unlock
Is the keyboard usb or ps2? If its usb then try another port. If its ps2(Green) then power down the pc by holding in the power button for 8 to 10 seconds. Pull the plug and make sure no pins are bent. Plug it back in and boot back up. This should fix the problem if its ps2. Regards
