Maybe a corrupt software driver, try updated software from the web site. Also it could be the electrical connections to the printer cartridges. Remove the cartridges & clean the gold or silver contacts with a pencil eraser. Be gentle & don't touch the contacts with you fingers, as it leaves a n oil film & causes contact problems. You will have to clean the inside, where the printer cartridge contacts connect to, as well.. Rgds,
