Nikon D100 lens interface problem

I have a Tokina 80~200 F2.8 ATX lens that dosn't interface with the D100 properly. installing the lens is normal and function is normal for the first shot then I get a FEE error and have to remount the lens to clear the problem. Just turning the camera off and back on gets the FEE again.
I sent the lens back to Tokina for service and it worked fine for about 6 months. I have other Tokina and Nikor lens that work fine on my old 8008S and the D100. with a $100+ repair bill I tought I would ask you all Thanks

This normally means that you have forgotten to set the lens aperture control to it's minimum aperture (the highest number). On the D100 the aperture control is via a wheel on the camera body instead of via the physical control on the lens aperture ring.

I have just purchased a Tokina 100mm F2.8 for my Nikon D610 and cant get it to Autofocus the lens is deffo in the right mode.

Looking at a photo of the Tokina 100mm f/2.8 AT-X M100 AF lens, I noticed that the barrow of the lens has two lines engraved behind the focusing ring labeled AF and MF. Are you sure that the lens is set to AF? If it is in fact in the AF mode, you probably have a defective lens. I would return it and ask for a replacement or refund.

I need a new front element for a tokina 12-24mm, where can I get one from and can I do the repair myself?

Do you have a lens collimator and other equipment needed to ensure proper alignment of the element? If you don't, send the lens back to Tokina and have them replace the element.

Can I use TOKINA lens 28mm-210 lens with this Nikon body or can I use with other NIKON body D 700?

Tokina makes their lenses with a variety of mounts. A lens with Canon mount, for example, won't fit onto a Nikon. Assuming you get the lens with a Nikon mount, then yes, you can use it with a D70 and with a D700.

I just bought the Tokina SD 12-24 F4 (IF) DX wide-angle lens for my D70, and it does not autofocus. I'm being told by the company I bought it from that i am past their 2 week return policy. Does this lens...

Only the MkII version of this lens has an autofocus motor built in, the MkI relies on a motor in the body of some Nikon AF SLRs to autofocus. The D70 does not have an inbuilt AF drive motor, so if you have the MkI lens then you can only use it in manual focus mode on your camera.
