Printer does not respond when trying to print documents and have to keep installing the program

Need more info.. 'keep installing' what program..? Has the printer worked correctly in the past? Does the printer work with any other 'program'? Does the printer work from notepad? What operating system are you using? What brand & model of printer is it? Can you install the printer to another pc & test it there? Can you run a printer 'self test'? Thats where you do not have the printer connected to the pc, but hold down some buttons on the printer, to force a self test, to prove the printer actually prints. You can also run a printer test from the operating system.. Eg if you are running windows XP, go 'start button', 'printers & faxes', right mouse click the icon for your default printer, select properties. You should see a button to self test.

When installing usb connected devices..

It's a common mistake to connect the USB cable to your pc
before installing the software. If thats the case, it's probably
the reason why it will not install.
In the past, I have had to disconnect the usb cable, un-install the
the software (sometimes the un-install software is on the CD)
then re-install the software/driver, then when the install software
prompts, plug in the usb.. Or if it does not prompt you to connect
the usb, do so at the end of the software/driver installation. That
is, after you have booted the pc.

Open the printer folder and right click on it then cilck on use printer online n ur done.
if u r using windows, click on start then on printers and faxes u'll see list of printers there. right click on the printer u r using then click on use printer online

I am printing documents to my HP LaserJet 5000n Printer and the printer's not responding. I've tried restarting it and it displays that it's processing a job before displays that it's ready.


Either a corrupted driver or possibly a bad network card or parallel port, depending on how you have it connected. Does the printer print test pages from the on printer control panel ok? If yes, try printing a different document from a different program or try the windows test print from the driver. If it prints the windows test print then likely you have either a corrupted program or file. If it will not print the windows test print then I would delete the driver, download the current HP UPD driver and install that.

I have a inpiron 530 with a Photo 926 printer. It will only print the last page of a print job.


Hello randy,
This is going to take some troubleshooting.
Please try the following, and test after each change. Hopefully we can get this working for you quickly Verify that when you hit print it under print range that only the last page is selected.
Try printing a different document, this is assuming you've been only having the issue with one document. Try printing a different type of document, using a different program such as word, notepad, or even a multi-page website.
If any of these has worked for you then it has either narrowed it down to the specific document, or the program, re install the program in question.
If none of the following has helped.
go to start/run type cmd to open the command prompt type following net stop spooler net start spooler this will restart the print spooler service.
If none of the above worked, delete the printer and reinstall. If problem persists install printer on a separate computer to verify that it works correctly.

see ther will be 2 cause of problem 1 is may be the printer driver is not proprly installed or may be check the printer cable also.

make sure when you switch on the printer it start normally without any error on display screen.

Need Dell All-in-One printer 924 to work with Inspiron 530S.


If it doesn't say it is specifically for VISTA then it is not for VISTA.. Even if it does show up on the computer ,that just shows that some driver for that model printer is installed. Not necessary one that will work. Go to the weblink that I gave you. Download the VISTA drive and update the driver, using the one you downloaded ,and that will most lkely fix the problem.

Normal 0 Driver could be corrupt.
Disconnect the printer or at least be sure it is turned off. I'd do both and reinstall the CD software program that came withthe printer. When the software program asks you to connect theprinter to the USB port, do so and it should again work properly.

Normal 0 Driver could be corrupt.

Printer is not printing at all


You may not install the correct driver for the correct OS. Not sure what OS you are using but below link might be useful for you to get the correct driver and install into your PC.

Printer won't respond


1. Open START, SETTINGS, CONTROL PANEL, PRINTERS
2. Right click on your Epson printer name, and click CANCEL ALL DOCUMENTS.
3. Confirm cancelling all documents.
4. Right click on the Printer again, and select DELETE.

1) Click on START, SETTINGS and CONTROL PANEL.
2) Double click on the SYSTEM folder and select the Device Manager tab.
3) Click on the "+" for "Universal Serial Bus Controller"
4) Right click on "USB Printing Support" and select "Uninstall" and confirm it
5) Disconnect the USB cable and reconnect it.

Keep Printed Documents


Deletes and reinstall print drivers, does'nt sound like a printer problem, more software issue, driver reinstall is my best bet

What are you printing from? ie program is?, and can you print windows test page OK?
