Not printing colour properly DCP-310CN - Brother Office Equipment & Supplies

The printhead has been contaminated. Run the cleaning cycle in printer a few times and see if it improves. I mostly see this when generic or refilled cartridges are used.

No. That by design is a different machine (ie. Brother MFC series)

Yellow is one of the colours used to produce a shade of red.

I don't know how but ther must be a way to print a test page to see if the print heads need cleaning I've never used a brother.

the colour in the cartridge are either empty or got mixed.so you r not getting proper colours. replace the colour cartridges

so go back to maintenance mode. Make sure all carts are at full level, placed well and are secured. press 7 then 6 then 4 by help of arrow-up and set key. display should be init_all. press start bk-copy. when finished (maintenance) press 7-6-3 then start bk-copy.
leave maintenance after cleaning procedure by pressing 9 then 9. If youre lucky the generic ink hasnt affected the ph. print a test prit. if you cant see any blocks nor signs the ph needs replacement.

anyway: if you use generic ink do mix some glycerol (glycerin alc.) from drugstore: 2ml of 85%-glycerol with 8ml of generic ink. This prevents the ph nozzels from drying out or clogging!
