Do you live in an area of high humidity? This could be your problem. The water that is coming off the evaporator and draining to the outside pan is building up and picked up by the condensor fan and consequently blown by the fan inside. If this is the problem the fix is to drill a hole in the pan to permit the water to drain from the pan. Be careful as to where the hole is drilled so as to not damage any component of the a/c. I would suggest at least a 1/4 inch drill bit be used to make the hole.

Was told by Haier customer rep . to tilt unit on its side to drain out water . There are also no drain pipes on units made after 2008. See if your unit has a setting to dehumidify , if so put that as your setting. I know it can be very frustrating . Good luck !

I purchased two Artic King 10,000 BTU Air Conditioners. The base of the units on the exterior of the building build up with water up to about 1 deep when it rains or running. Why is there no drain?

If you look inside the exterior part you should see a copper tube(part of the refrigeration tubing) that rests horizontally under this water. The water cools the freon inside that copper tube. That's why some models don't have a drain there.

I have a 1995 ford truck with a 302 (5L) and it will not start in wet or raining weather. there is lots of cranking power and it wants to fire but will not start

On some models the spark plugs are recessed and water collects in the
recess around the spark plug boot. We recently serviced a truck with this
exact symptom.

Water in air conditioner

A lot of the newer window units design the outside fan to pickup the condensate water and sling it onto the coil. The evaporative effect makes the unit run more efficiently. They ususally don't spit, but if the unit is running well, otherwise, I would't worry about it.

AC was cooling fine. Now, won't cool room even though cool air comes out. Exhaust hose is extremely hot.

Check filter, if you have a 5000BTU unit (small) and it is extremely hot, then it wont work great for a big room. BTU is the rate of what the AC will put out. 5000 BTU is good for a small single room. 10,000 will cool a bigger room and 18,000 btu is meant to cool a home.

Sounds like it could be either a split vacuum hose or your idle control valve is faulty.

My haier a/c window unit is spitting water through the vent

check the filter located behind the front panel it usually snaps out also make sure the drain holes on the out side bottom of unit are not stopped up and that the unit is leaned back slightly for drainage freezing is a sign of low air flow or low on freon the coil actually gets colder when freon starts to leak out hope this helps with your problem
