IHVT or flyback transformer has 3 leads = high voltage to CRT,
focus and screen leads to small circuit board on end of CRT.

Carrier ac light on board out


High voltage goes to board then to transformer. 24v comes out transformer into board. Check high voltage going to transformer if have votage but no low voltage out other side 24v then transformer is bad.

Transformer is not providing power to timer unit, power bulb is indictaing off power on screen. Have completly powered down and powered up. Model - pocket star 4 zone Thanks Dan...


The transformer is seams to be working, the power bulb indicator working tells me that the transformer is ok. You may need to check the circuit
board.

Fried transformer in air handler above board no #'s or voltage specs


What you need is a 24 volt transformer that has a rating of at least 40VA. 120 volts is the primary and 24 volts is the secondary voltage. You should try to figure out why the transformer burnt out first.

I wouldn't mess with the EEprom........................T.

The H.O.T. Transistor number (original is 2SD3402 (which is no longer available)) it's replacement is the 2SC5902.

The H.O.T. Transformer part Number is RCA 271996
