This is a stapler primarily for upholstering applications. Try inquiring at your local fabrics store or upholstering supply dealer. They may carry the staples. Unlikely you would find these at a hardware store but you could still try Lowes or Home Depot.

Ray the belts or gone thought someone might have one of these tiller and could get numbers off their forward & reverse belts

try this
set the belt adjustment at minimum
run a tape measure around the pulleys to get a dimension as if a belt was fitted
measure across the top of the v of the pulley to determine belt width
now for discussion purposes the length is 856 mm and is 11 mm wide then go to a belt supplier and try for a belt that reads 865 (33") to 870 mm (341/4") x11mm (.43")
talk with the supplier to see if it is possible to change the belt for larger or smaller
10 mm or 1/2" makes a difference in the length but the width will be 9mm , 11,or 13mm
a proper width belt will fit in the pulley with the edge of the belt just proud of the edge of the pulley or level with the edge if the pulley
correct length should put the adjustment about 1/4 adjusted to allow for stretch of a working belt

Where do I get staples for a B&D stapler? #9700

There are several brands of staples that will fit your stapler and the price will vary according to the depth of staple you are looking to buy. Arrow brand staples are the most common. All the ones I saw that fit the 9700 are Wide Crown Swingline Heavy Duty

I am using an Arrow stapler modelT50p and 5/8 inch staples to staple artists' cnavas to a 1x2inch frames. but, the staples protrude too far and need to be hammered in. If I use the smaller 3/8...

An easy way to see if the 3/8 " staple would be snug would be measure how much of the 5/8 " staple is up after you use the staple gun. There is 1/4 " difference between the two.

What is the difference between tire size 255/70 and 265/70

Hello Projocs03,

Tires are typically measured tire width (sidewall)/tire ride height/wheel size. The differences of the two tire sizes you published are .4 of an inch difference in width/sidewall. And about .55 in over all diameter which would impact you revs per rotation. Depending on your wheel size.

Attached is a comparison of the two given the variable of 17" rim.

I added the above link so you can research further or change any variables you need to know. However, the most important thing to understand is the impact of your speedometer. Different sizes will have different impacts. For example going to a bigger tire will show a slower speed on your spedo that your traveling.

Good luck
