Question about Panasonic PV-V4611 VHS VCR

1 Answer

The sound on my Panasonic pv-4611 fades in and out while watching tapes. Doesn't matter whether they are factory or recorded ones by myself. Why?

This sounds like the Hi-Fi sound dropping out. It's mostly caused by dirt on the main video head. You need to clean it with either Servisol Video 40 or a head cleaning tape.

Check the tape to see if it has a rolled edge on the bottom this is where where the sound is recorded or the tape path may need a cleaning.
