It is difficult to confirm the cost unless the machine is checked and problem is obserrved but I can guide you to do it yourself so that the fault can be sorted out.
Now please observe carefully the program cycle so that we can judge the fault.
On selection of the program , does the inlet water come in in free flow? if so does it cuts off? now the wash cycle will commence and run. Does it cut off during the run or during the drain. If it stops during the run then the motor or the program controller is faulty... possible disconnection of the drive.
If it stoops during the drain cycle then check the drain valve/pump or the program controller.
So the most possible fault can be the controller.

If your dishwasher is stuck in wash cycle and isn't draining then you will have to take off all of the shields on the bottom of the unit (on the outside) then you will see the motor. Unplug the dishwasher then put your fingers in the motor and start to turn it to free up the motor, the motor is kind of like a vacuum cleaner belt, so when you hand turn the motor you're allowing the belt to slip back into its grove. Then when you're finished, then plug it back and turn the dishwasher on and it should drain.

Please accept the solution if it's helpful. Do get back to us for any further query.

Thanks for contacting

.Float Switch

The float switch may be hung up and this can cause the dishwasher to be stuck in a cycle.

Timer / Control

If your dishwasher gets stuck in a cycle first try shutting off the breaker for at least 5 minutes if this does not correct the problem you will need to replace the timer /electronic control 10_17_2012_1_06_02_pm.jpg

For some reason my GE GBVH6260 washer cycles are getting hung up on either the wash or rinse cycle. Some days it will stay stuck in the wash cycle & some days it will stay stuck in the rinse cycle for...

Most likely its your water inlet valve..(cold side is not letting water in). Very common problem that usually manifests during rinse cycle since rinse uses always cold water.
According to your model # , part # is WH13X10023

Hobart LXIH stuck in Wash mode after running multiple loads. Shutting off breaker for several hours fixes problem until multiple loads have been run again and then it is once more stuck in Wash mode.

How long does it stay in the wash cycle? Indefinitely? Does the display continuously show "WASH"?. If it stays in the wash cycle indefinitely (i.e. continuously shows "WASH" for significantly beyond approx. 3 minutes), it's probably a control board malfunction. If it continues to wash after the "WASH" indicator goes out, it could be a shorted wash motor relay on the relay board or a fauly control board.

If the internal rinse water booster heater doesn't reach it's programmed setpoint temperature in time, the dishwasher will run an extended wash cycle to give the booster heater more time to finish heating the rinse water. If this is what's happening, the wash cycle would last approximately 3 minutes, then it would rinse regardless of whether the booster heater has finished heating or not.

The booster temperature thermistor may be bad, giving a false booster temperature reading, causing an extended wash cycle as described above. The booster heater elements or contactor may be bad, preventing the booster heater from heating and reaching proper temperature, also causing the same extended wash cycle to give the booster more time to heat.

GE WJSE4150B1WW Model top load problem

It sounds like the timer must have went bad or has a loose connection, If I understand you correctly its stuck in the spin mode. and won't go to rinse or wash cycle, Is that what you are saying, If so Maybe the start button got pushed in to hard or pulled out to hard. If It don't work let me know so we can work on something else so we can get it fixed for you, Happy Holidays bear001
