Question about Kenmore Sewing Machines
I know that it sounds silly but do you have your thread facing the right way? And around the guide the right way? And your clutch disengaged, either on the handwheel and or the bobbin pin lever pushed to the right? Are you holding the tail of the thread for at least 3-4 spins, the releasing? The only other thing could be that the tension looper is disengaged somehow. Good luck, seems like a major pain. I ended up buying a bobbin winder for about $30 for my mother's old machine, she is happy.
