Question about Western Digital 320GB MyBook External USB 2.0 Hard Drive
You plug the power for the drive into a wall outlet, then plug the USB cable from the drive into your computer. The drive should appear as a new volume on your computer, and if you're on Windows, the included software will run automatically.
If the drive is not recognized, check that the drive is properly powered and try another computer. If it doesn't work on another computer, then the drive may be defective.
