USB drives can be write-protected by modifying the StoreageDevicePolicies Registry key and WriteProtect Registry value.
click Start>run>regedit to open Registry Editor. and press control+F to open the find dialogue box and type "usb device" or "driverdesc" to open usb mass storage device or type "usb mass storage device" in the search windows. And right click on it and delete. This will set the policy value to 0. then insert your usb device. It will work fine.
# Remember: do not delete any unknow files in the registry as this will make some programes not work as usual.

If you are running a Windows XP OS then you might be able to:

- click start right click on my computer select open
- Right click the icon of your Flash Drive (It should be F:/ or something)
- Click Properties in the menu that comes up
- Click the Sharing tab
- Click permissions
- And finally, click Allow next to Full Control.
hope this helps

Ciick on "start", then click on "control panel". Find "device manager", right click on, open and, click continue. Click on box with + next to "Human Interface Devices" Do you see a warning, ?, !, yellow triangle? If so click on that and follow recommendations. Right click on your device. In the list, you should see "disable". If you see "enable" click on that, exit. Right click on it again and click on "properties". You should see "this device is working properly". Click on "driver" tab. Click on update driver. Click on "automatically search for...".

No sound device detected

I'm going to give you a couple of ways to check this;
1 Click on "start" then, click on "control panel". In your list (icons), find "device manager", right click on , open and click on continue. Click on the box with + next to "sound audio and game controllers". You should have a drop down of your device, probably HD audio. Right click on that. You should see "disable" in the list. If you see "enable" click on that and exit. Right click on it again and click on the "properties" tab. You should see "this device is working properly. Windows adds generic or genuine drivers taht usually work for Realtek (ALC662) so, if you want to try an update, right click on device, then click on "drivers" tab. Click on search web/internet for drivers...
You can check by clicking on the speaker icon in your taskbar at lower right of screen. Right click on it. Click on playback devices. You should see a green check on left and sound bars on right. Right ckick on your device and you should see "disable" if you see "enable" click on that, exit.
right click on again and click on "open sound mixer" and adjust volume. Right click on the speaker one more time and right click on your device. Click on test. the bars should respond and you should hear the pings.

My mouse isnt working

Is it the mouse or keypad?

Anyway, go into device manager and disable it, then enable.

Right click on 'Computer'.

Device manager
Mice and other pointing devices
Right click on above and click 'properties' Does it say: This device is working properly?

Click OK, right click on Mice and other pointing devices.

Try again.

If still not working, 'uninstall'

Reboot PC and let drivers reinstall and try again.

Right click does not work

Probably have a bad mouse button on your palmrest. Try using an external mouse... does it right-click? If it works fine then you have a bad mouse button and will probably need a new palmrest to fix it.

If it still fails to right click with another mouse, then it is just a software setting in your PC, check your settings in control panel in the mouse options.

Good Luck.

My dvd is not working it's not playing at all.

You can try these steps:

Edit the registry:-
1. Click Start, and click Run.
2. Type regedit in the Open box, and click OK.
3. In Registry Editor, click the plus (+) sign next to each folder name to expand the following registry path:
4. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class
5. Under Class, click {4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}.
6. In the right pane, right-click Upper Filters, and click Delete.
7. Click yes when prompted to delete the registry value.
8. In the right pane, right-click Lower Filters, and click Delete.
9. Click yes again.
10.Close the window and restart the computer

If it still does not work, you can try in safe mode, and if it does not work in safe mode, you would need to get it replaced.
However, if it works in safe mode, that would mean that it is a software issue, in which case you can try system restore.

Pleae do not forget to rate the solution.
