Hello. Since this unit is brand new, the best advice is to work with the distributor where you got it. This item is under full warranty, and apparentl defective. IF you open it up you will void the warranty. Joe

It almost sounds like a power fault, the way those lights are blinking indicates some kind of major "failure" of the unit so to speak. Check your wiring, and if it is definitely sound then you will want to immediately return this unit for another one. I have seen this units be "bad" right from the factory.

    Thanks

LED LIGHT BLINKING OF HITACHI SPLIT AIR CONDITIONER

Did you figure out why the ac wasn't responding to the remote? I am having the same problem. I just cleaned out the filters but it's still not responding to the remote. I have already tried reset button in the remote, which didn't help. I am pretty sure that the remote is not out of battery.

Clean filter light on my Fedders model sfpeb08f2b is on. I have cleaned the filter in the back, is there another filter that I am missing? The light will not go off...

I had the same problem, remove the filter and wash with water and some soap, rinse well and dry well.
Place it again and turn the unit on, if the light does not turn off, unplug the unit and wait about 10 seconds, reconnect the unit and should disappear the red light.
This worked for me, hope it works for you ...
Good luck ...

Hi, We have a 42" hslc10668phz

generally when you get a constant green light all is ok. these different lights indicate different problems within the tv. so the pattern of lights you mention suggests there is a fault of some kind (is there a troubleshooting section in your manual)? either way it needs to be looked at.

Red light won't go off

To RESET the Electronic Filter Check:
When the filter check light remains on,it is time to check/clean the HEPA-Type
filters and reset the filter check,if needed. With the unit powered on,insert the tip of a ball-point pen or
paperclip into the hole next to the LED filter check light and hold for approximately 5 seconds until the
light turns off (Fig 5). Depending upon your individual usage (environment and hours used),you may need
to check and clean the filters more or less frequently. If the HEPA-Type filters are cleaned before the filter
check light turns on,the filter check should be reset at the same time.
These cleaning intervals are intended as guidelines only. Performance of any filter media is dependent
upon the concentration of contaminates going through the system. High concentrations of contaminates
such as dust, pet dander and smoking will reduce the useful performance of the filter.
NOTE:The HEPA-Type filters are not washable.
