The hookup is not hard just use the output from your PC VGA , Composite etc to the TV and make sure the right input is selected ont the TV . The tricky part is making sure your PC or laptop is 1 set to display to TV (goto your video settings on desktop) and 2 if you have a laptop most have a function button on top that switches from monitor to external monitor or to split to both.

Using indoor Ota antenna on Flatscreen and want to hook up old vcr/ how

Yout flat screen likely has RCA inputs and we'll ad the vcr player.
S video is another option, but then you will still need to send audio.

RCA you can find anywhere. Yellow red and white plugs. Plug then in the output from the vcr and the inputs on the TV. Just plug yellow to yellow, red to red ect.
Then change you video source on your TV to that input.

Baird tv has no picture but sound ok. picture lights up when turning on and off but then goes out.y

Hi Anon,
If your LCD TV or monitor has stopped working, or is displaying one of the following symptoms, then it's a candidate for some new capacitors
- Flickering screen
- Screen image disappears after several seconds
- Dim screen
- Slow start
- Power LED on, but no picture
- Unusual colors and/or lines
The primary cause of LCD TV and monitor failure is caused by faulty capacitors. You can examine the capacitors in your LCD TV or monitor and actually see if they are bad.
If they appear bulged on top, then they need to be replaced.
New capacitors will solve a host of problems in LCD monitors and TV's and will extend the life of your monitor or TV by several years.
Check the cables, connectors and connections.
If your TV, flatscreen, or monitor is more than 5 years old it is more like to have suffered a component failure.
Take it to a repair shop.

Hi ,iam trying to connect a digtial converter(rca) to a dawoo dtq27u4sc 27'...i read your info.what kind of transformer(if any) do i need.. ? iam using the 3 prong av cabel hook up at back of tv = av1...

OK, let mesee if I get this right, you have a digital TV tuner box that picks up the digital TV signal off the AIR? And this tuner box has 3 RCA jacks on the back (Red:Right channel audio output, White: Left channel audio output, Yellow: Composite video output)?
If the above are corrects, then all you have to do is to connect those cables to the AV1 (if AV1 is for the compoite video and analog audio input). No transformer needed.
Please clarify.

Can I hook up a cable from my PC VGA output to my TV Component inputs?

As long as the PC and the TV has VGA, YES, you can hook it up from the PC VGA output to TV VGA inputs.

Please let me know if you have any other question.

Thank you!
