Question about Roper RAS8445KQ Top Load Washer
This is usually caused by the drain hose not being high enough.
It has to at least reach as high as the top of the cabinet.
Once in a while a drain hose fitting too tightly into a stand pipe can cause the same effect.

If you are saying the water keeps on running but never fills then the water is siphoning or running out. There are a few things that can cause this.
The drain hose is connected solid to the drainpipe with tape or some know of airtight connection. This will cause the water to siphon out because it cannot get air. If this is the case you will have to install a siphoning break. This will allow the drain to be connected the drainpipe with an airtight connection and still get air.
