Sorry to break it up to you but I tried looking for a driver for linux for the motorola wu830g but was unsuccessful but you could try ndiswrapper it didn't work for me though but I was using Ubuntu good luck =)
It is a hard thing. JNI is bought by AMCC. In a few years ago (2002) the HBA-s are supported under Redhat Linux (6 or 7) but, currently drivers disappears from the manufacturers web site (www.amcc.com( , and company policy said that only the current drivers appears on the web site. I dont found any Linux hba driver.
A quick Google search suggests that there are at least three different versions of the DWL-G510 and that Rev B might work with the madwifi drivers. Otherwise, you may want to consider using ndiswrapper with the Windows drivers. I've had good luck with ndiswrapper.
I found the right driver you will need. You can download the right driver from the following link...
The version you will want to download is 220.127.116.11
Hope this helps. Good luck.
You apparently don't have downloaded all drivers and software needed.
I'd go to:
Install the software in the following sequence:
1. Download and install Sun StorEdge SAN Foundation software 4.2 packages and
See Sun StorEdge SAN Foundation Software 4.2 Installation Guide, 817-1244.
2. Download and install the appropriate JNI 2 Gb PCI Single and Dual Port HBAs
packages and patches.
