Question about Sharp R-1502 Microwave Oven
On these models, each of the four plastic buttons on the right side of the control panel runs a hidden pad on the membrane keypad.
The other pads on the keypad are fully exposed once you open the door and you just press them directly to operate them.
These plastic button assemblies have been upgraded due to weakness and breakage.
Most often it's the bottom two buttons (Stop/Clear and Start/Minute Plus) that fail.
