Here's a little trick I have learned, from being the type of person that would cause a spill, and guessing that it was something sugary, that is the reason it is sticking, to fix this, get a clean, lint free rag and get some rubbing alcohol and dab just a little on the rag then wipe it across the keybord, pressing down on the keys so it can get down to the bottom of the keys. Do this as many times as it takes to wipe the entire area covered by keys.

If you want to clean under the keys, take a knife or something thin. Then, stick it under the key and pop it out. just use a lightly moist towel to rub under the keys and on the contact points. make sure to dry it off well and make sure its not plugged in when doing this.

Keybd keys are sticking

Be prepared to buy a new keyboard... Remove AC and DC power before working on laptop. Many laptop keyboards come off with the removal of 1 to 5 screws from the bottom. Some, however, require the palm rest to be removed, then a couple of screws that hold in the keyboard. Be careful when removing and replacing cables. After removing keyboard, rinse with water and let dry thoroughly before re-attaching and powering up. You cannot remove individual keys, so don't try.

Keyboard malfunction

You can try reseating the keyboard but then if the same keys aren't working then that means that the keyboard is bad and would need to be replaced. Could be either keys sticking or water got spilled on the keyboard.

The keys on my keyboard keep sticking. this is a

HI,

If the keyboard is so new that you can take it back with the receipt, you should do so. Some keyboards are just not made very well, or if normally a good product, you may simply have a defective one. No reason to keep it if you can return it. There is not an adequate way of fixing keys that stick. Usually that can be caused by spilling something like a sugary drink or coffee onto it, or if it has been exposed to direct sunlight for a long period of time, which could cause the plastic to warp.
